Why It Works
Sunflower oil is a source for beta-carotene which is converted to vitamin A with benefits of protection from sun damage and free radicals. Being very high in vitamin E, it acts as an emollient which traps moisture and keeps skin well hydrated. Jojoba oil contains myristic acid which has anti-inflammatory actions. Since it is similar in composition to the skin’s own oils, it is quickly absorbed and is excellent for dry and mature skins, as well as inflamed conditions. It also has antioxidant properties. Almond oil is packed with vitamin E, which may help protect the skin from sun damage and premature aging.
